multiple times. This class helps parents build awareness, understanding,
and application of techniques that help heal these special children.
The Sexualized Child in Foster Care
Children who have been sexually abused or who are sexually abusing others
require special care. This class teaches normal sexual development and
how to apply household management and parenting techniques to protect
the child and family.
PTSD: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
in Children
Abused and neglected children often display many of the symptoms of
PTSD even if they do not have the diagnosis. This class teaches parents
how to recognize those symptoms and help children manage and heal the
feelings and behaviors.
